Five Reasons Laughter is a Lifesaver
Some statistics make you wonder, some of them really make you laugh, and then there are some that really get you thinking. Like this one…
Did you know that children laugh on average 300-400 times a day*, but by the time we become adults that rate apparently plummets to a pathetic 8-15 times per diem. Doesn’t that rip the fork out of your nightie?
What a sad indictment of today’s society that we can find so little to laugh about. I mean come on chucklers, if babies can laugh before they can manage to say Mum-mum or goo-goo, how is that a fully-grown adult can’t even summon up a giggle at least once an hour?
Seems we all need to get up to more funny business.

When it comes to finding excuses not to exercise I’ve heard ‘em all – most of them from my husband.
- Too busy.
- Too tired.
- Too out of shape (and the aim is…).
- It’s boring.
- I’ll start next week.
- The dog ate my gym shorts.
- Did I mention I’m too busy?
And let’s not forget that trusty old favourite we all roll out when nothing more creative comes to mind … “I haven’t got time”.
